Cryptic Emergency Traffic is an LSPDFR plugin for Grand Theft Auto V Legacy. It requires a working installation of RagePluginHook and LSPDFR.

Before installing, confirm that you can launch the game, load LSPDFR and go on duty successfully.

No additional frameworks, libraries or third-party dependencies are required.

Cryptic Emergency Traffic cannot function as a standalone mod. GTA V Legacy, RagePluginHook and LSPDFR must be installed and working correctly.

Grand Theft Auto V Legacy

Cryptic Emergency Traffic is designed for GTA V Legacy.

Launch the game through a RagePluginHook installation that is compatible with your game and LSPDFR versions.

Do not assume the Legacy plugin is compatible with GTA V Enhanced. Check the release information for explicit support before using another game edition.

RagePluginHook

RagePluginHook must be able to launch GTA V Legacy and load LSPDFR successfully.

If your existing RagePluginHook and LSPDFR setup works correctly, no additional RagePluginHook configuration is required specifically for Cryptic Emergency Traffic.

Install the plugin in:

Grand Theft Auto V Legacy\plugins\LSPDFR\

Do not install the DLL directly in the main plugins folder. Follow the folder structure supplied with the download.

LSPDFR

LSPDFR must load correctly and allow you to go on duty.

Cryptic Emergency Traffic uses LSPDFR gameplay context to help protect vehicles involved in active pursuits and traffic stops from its civilian traffic-management behaviour.

Resolve existing LSPDFR loading errors or crashes before adding Cryptic Emergency Traffic. Otherwise, it may be difficult to identify the source of a problem.

Other Traffic Mods

Other plugins that instruct civilian vehicles to yield to emergency vehicles may compete with Cryptic Emergency Traffic for control of the same traffic.

Overlapping instructions can produce unexpected braking, manoeuvres or vehicle behaviour.

Avoid running multiple emergency traffic-yielding plugins simultaneously unless compatibility has been confirmed.

If traffic behaves unexpectedly, temporarily disable other traffic-yielding or traffic-management plugins and repeat the test.

This does not mean every vehicle-related mod is incompatible. Focus testing on plugins that control the same civilian driving behaviour.

The CrypticEmergencyTraffic.ini supplied with v4.0.0
A single installed copy of CrypticEmergencyTraffic.dll

Keep the DLL and INI together in plugins\LSPDFR.

Remove obsolete DLL copies from other locations in the plugins directory. Use the configuration supplied with your installed release rather than replacing it with an older INI.

Before Reporting an Issue

Confirm that:

GTA V Legacy launches successfully through RagePluginHook.
LSPDFR loads and you can go on duty.
The DLL and INI are installed in plugins\LSPDFR.
Only one installed copy of CrypticEmergencyTraffic.dll remains.
You are using the configuration supplied with your installed version.
Your test meets the configuration’s activation conditions.
You have checked the RagePluginHook log for relevant errors.
You have tested for interference from other traffic-yielding plugins.

Back up your settings, then test with the supplied configuration and other traffic-yielding plugins temporarily disabled. Include the results, your plugin version and the affected session’s RagePluginHook log when requesting support.
