Read the new release instructions before replacing files.

Before Updating

  1. Close GTA V and RagePluginHook.
  2. Back up your INI.
  3. Back up TestResults.csv if you want to retain records.
  4. Check the new release’s Policing Redefined compatibility requirements.
  5. Confirm PRInteractiveEvidence remains disabled.

Installing the Update

Replace the DLL and supporting files using the new package’s folder structure.

Use the newly supplied INI as your starting point, then transfer supported settings and physical-form profiles from your backup.

Do not assume that a new Policing Redefined build is supported by an older Cryptic Evidence release. Compatibility is verified against the supported binary.

After Updating

  1. Launch through RagePluginHook.
  2. Load LSPDFR and go on duty.
  3. Check for the Cryptic Evidence active notification.
  4. Start a test through Policing Redefined.
  5. Verify workbench interactions and result recording.

If stock testing opens instead, check the log for compatibility or integration messages.

Keep your previous release backed up until the updated installation works correctly.
