Close GTA V and RagePluginHook before installing.

File Locations

Install the compiled plugin here:

Grand Theft Auto V Legacy\plugins\LSPDFR\CrypticEvidence.dll

Install the configuration here:

Grand Theft Auto V Legacy\plugins\LSPDFR\CrypticEvidence\CrypticEvidence.ini

Install the image assets here:

Grand Theft Auto V Legacy\plugins\LSPDFR\CrypticEvidence\Assets\

Preserve all subfolders and filenames inside Assets.

The INI belongs inside the CrypticEvidence folder. It is not installed directly alongside the DLL in plugins\LSPDFR.

Installation Steps

Confirm that Policing Redefined works correctly.
Disable PRInteractiveEvidence if installed.
Extract the complete Cryptic Evidence release package.
Copy its files into your GTA V Legacy directory using the supplied structure.
Check the DLL, INI and Assets locations.
Launch through RagePluginHook.
Load LSPDFR and go on duty.

A source-code archive is not a complete installation package. The game requires a compiled DLL and the image assets used by the workbench.

Confirming Integration

Check for the notification:

Cryptic Evidence active. Start drug testing through PR.

Then open Policing Redefined’s drug-testing menu and select a test for an inventory item.

The interactive workbench should open.

A plugin loading message alone does not confirm that Policing Redefined integration succeeded. Check for the active notification or integration message.

Generated Files

The renderer creates a Cache folder inside CrypticEvidence during asset processing.

Completed tests create or append to:

Grand Theft Auto V Legacy\plugins\LSPDFR\CrypticEvidence\TestResults.csv

Cache files are generated by the plugin. They do not replace the original files required in Assets.
