Cryptic Evidence adds an interactive drug-testing workbench to Policing Redefined for Grand Theft Auto V Legacy and LSPDFR.

Instead of completing a test through a menu selection alone, you prepare a sample, operate the test pouch and interpret the displayed reaction.

Features

  • Integration with Policing Redefined’s drug-testing menu
  • Mouse-driven evidence handling and sample preparation
  • Seven supported physical forms
  • A first-stage drug-family screen
  • An optional second-stage substance identification
  • Reaction patterns and reference comparisons
  • CSV records for completed tests
  • Optional writeback to Policing Redefined
  • Configurable interaction timings and object scale

How Testing Works

Select an evidence item and test family through Policing Redefined.

Cryptic Evidence opens the workbench when its integration is active. Follow the prompts to verify the item, prepare the sample, activate the reagents and interpret the reaction.

A supported family match allows you to proceed to a second test using a fresh pouch.

A family screen and a specific identification are separate results. Completing Stage 1 alone does not identify the individual substance.

Evidence Continuity

The plugin checks that the selected evidence remains in Policing Redefined’s inventory and that its description and drug type have not changed.

If those checks fail during testing, the session is cancelled.

Avoid removing or changing the selected evidence through another system while a test is active.

Results

Completed tests are recorded in TestResults.csv.

With writeback enabled, a correct Stage 2 identification also marks the original Policing Redefined item as analyzed.

Reaction patterns are gameplay representations. A successful identification is presented as presumptive, with laboratory confirmation required.
