Cryptic Evidence records completed tests in:

Grand Theft Auto V Legacy\plugins\LSPDFR\CrypticEvidence\TestResults.csv

The file is created when a result is first recorded.

Recorded Information

Each record contains:

  • UTC timestamp
  • Session identifier
  • Evidence description
  • Selected test family
  • Physical form
  • Test stage
  • Officer-selected candidate
  • Interpretation
  • Whether PR writeback was requested
Timestamps use UTC. They may differ from your local time.

Policing Redefined Writeback

With WriteBackToPR=true, a correct Stage 2 identification marks the original evidence item as analyzed.

Writeback does not occur for:

  • Family-only screens
  • No-match interpretations
  • Inconclusive results
  • Incorrect candidate selections
  • Cancelled sessions

With WriteBackToPR=false, completed tests are still recorded in the CSV, but the PR analysis flag remains unchanged.

Evidence Checks

The evidence must still exist in the inventory with its original description and drug type.

If continuity is lost before completion, the result is not recorded.

Storage Errors

If recording or writeback fails, the result screen reports the problem and directs you to the log.

Check that the plugin folder is writable and that another application is not locking the CSV.

The CSV field records whether writeback was requested. It does not independently prove that writeback succeeded; check the result message and log if an error occurred.

Backups

Back up TestResults.csv before updating or replacing the plugin folder if you want to retain previous records.

Reaction patterns and recorded outcomes are gameplay representations, not real forensic findings.
