Cryptic Callouts is an LSPDFR callout plugin for Grand Theft Auto V Legacy. It requires a correctly installed and functioning LSPDFR setup.

Before installing, confirm that you can launch the game through RagePluginHook, load LSPDFR and go on duty successfully.

Cryptic Callouts cannot function as a standalone mod. GTA V Legacy, RagePluginHook and LSPDFR must be installed and working correctly.

These instructions apply to GTA V Legacy. Do not assume that the same plugin files will work with GTA V Enhanced.

A Working LSPDFR Installation

Before adding Cryptic Callouts, you should be able to:

Launch GTA V Legacy through RagePluginHook.
Load into the game successfully.
Start LSPDFR and go on duty.
Play without recurring crashes or unresolved loading errors.

Resolve existing game, RagePluginHook or LSPDFR problems before installing Cryptic Callouts. A working setup makes new problems easier to identify.

Version Compatibility

Your GTA V Legacy, RagePluginHook and LSPDFR versions must be compatible with one another and with your installed Cryptic Callouts release.

Before updating the game or replacing core components, check their compatibility information and the requirements listed on the Cryptic Callouts download page.

A newer version is not automatically compatible with every installed plugin. Check compatibility before updating a working setup.

Plugin Compatibility

Compatibility with every third-party modification cannot be guaranteed.

Plugins that change the following systems may affect callout behaviour:

Callout handling
Pedestrian tasks and behaviour
Vehicle tasks and behaviour
Entity spawning
LSPDFR events
Emergency service behaviour

Using multiple LSPDFR plugins is normal. The number of installed plugins alone does not establish whether a conflict exists.

If you encounter a repeatable problem:

Record the callout name and what happened before the issue.
Review your RagePluginHook log for relevant errors.
Temporarily disable optional plugins that may affect the same behaviour.
Test again with Cryptic Callouts and its required components enabled.

Back up your plugins and configuration files before changing your setup. Disable optional plugins in small groups to help identify which change affects the problem.

Before Installing

Confirm that:

You are using Grand Theft Auto V Legacy.
RagePluginHook launches your game successfully.
LSPDFR loads and allows you to go on duty.
You have checked the requirements for your Cryptic Callouts release.
Any additional dependencies listed for that release are installed.
You have backed up your existing configuration if you are updating.
You have read the installation instructions.

Preserve the folder structure supplied with the download. Incorrect file placement can prevent the plugin or its accompanying files from loading correctly.
