Does Cryptic Callouts Require LSPDFR?

Yes. Cryptic Callouts is an LSPDFR callout plugin for Grand Theft Auto V Legacy.

You need a functioning RagePluginHook and LSPDFR installation, along with any additional dependencies listed for your release.

Cryptic Callouts cannot run as a standalone mod. Confirm that LSPDFR works correctly before installing it.

Does Cryptic Callouts Support GTA V Enhanced?

These installation instructions and releases are intended for Grand Theft Auto V Legacy.

Do not assume Legacy plugin files are compatible with GTA V Enhanced. Check the release page for explicit support before installing on another game edition.

Where Do I Install the Plugin?

The plugin belongs in:

Copy all accompanying files using the folder structure supplied with the download.

Do not copy only the plugin file or place the entire extracted download folder inside your game directory. Follow the Installing Cryptic Callouts guide.

Why Is Cryptic Callouts Not Loading?

Possible causes include:

Incorrect file placement
Missing accompanying files
Missing or incompatible dependencies
Incompatible game, RagePluginHook or LSPDFR versions
Configuration errors
Interference from another modification

Can I Use Other Callout Packs Alongside Cryptic Callouts?

Yes. You can use Cryptic Callouts alongside other LSPDFR callout packs.

Compatibility with every third-party modification cannot be guaranteed, particularly when plugins change pedestrian tasks, vehicle behaviour, spawning or callout handling.

Having several callout packs installed does not automatically establish a conflict. Investigate repeatable issues using the logs and controlled testing.

Why Am I Not Receiving Every Callout?

Callouts are not offered in a fixed order, and you may encounter some scenarios more often than others.

Check that the callout is enabled and that Cryptic Callouts loaded successfully.

Not receiving a particular scenario during one patrol does not necessarily mean it is broken.

Can I Disable Individual Callouts?

Yes. Use the individual callout options in the configuration supplied with your installed release.

Preserve setting names, section headings and the accepted value format. Save your changes before launching the game.

Can I Keep My Settings When Updating?

Yes. Back up your existing configuration, then transfer your preferred values into the configuration supplied with the new release.

Only transfer values into options that remain supported.

Do not overwrite the new configuration with an older file. You may lose new options or retain settings that are no longer supported.

Will More Callouts Be Added?

Future updates may include new callouts, additional scenario variations, improvements and fixes.

Check the release notes for confirmed changes.

Planned content may change during development. Treat features as available only when they are included in a released version.
