Installation
This article is for Cryptic CalloutsThis guide explains how to install Cryptic Callouts into your LSPDFR installation.
Before installing Cryptic Callouts, make sure your GTA V and LSPDFR installation are working correctly and that you have checked the mod's requirements.
Installation
- Download the latest version of Cryptic Callouts from LSPDFR.com.
- Extract the downloaded archive.
- Open the extracted folder.
- Copy the included files into your Grand Theft Auto V directory, following the folder structure provided.
- Allow folders to merge if prompted.
Always follow the folder structure included with the download. Installing files in the wrong location may prevent Cryptic Callouts from loading correctly.
Plugin Location
Cryptic Callouts is installed in the following directory:
Grand Theft Auto V\plugins\LSPDFR\
Cryptic Callouts may fail to load if required files are missing or installed outside the correct directory.
Configuration
Cryptic Callouts includes a configuration file that allows supported settings to be customised.
The configuration file should remain alongside the plugin after installation.
Make a backup of your configuration file before changing settings or updating the mod. This allows you to restore your preferred configuration if needed.
Confirming Installation
After installation:
- Launch GTA V through RagePluginHook.
- Start LSPDFR.
- Confirm that Cryptic Callouts has loaded successfully.
You can check the RagePluginHook or LSPDFR logs to confirm the plugin loaded.
If Cryptic Callouts does not load, check your logs and installation before reinstalling. Repeatedly reinstalling the mod may not resolve issues caused by missing dependencies or incorrect requirements.
